Borders Tour
The regions gentle, wooded landscape rising in rounded hills. Sir Walter Scott made the area famous, drawing his inspiration from the countryside and its people. On this tour we shall be visiting Floors Castle the duke of Roxburgh Residence with its Georgian structure with 19th century turret and domes, paintings tapestries and furniture walled garden with herbaceous borders and rosebuds. Traquair House
Dating from the 10th century and one of Scotland's oldest inhabited houses, 27 Scottish and English monarchs have stayed there.
